This process confirms that your finished jewelry piece composed of certified stones and materials complies with the SCS sustainability and traceability standards.
For Jewelers, this step confirms that each item made from certified stones and materials is ready for official certification on the blockchain. Once approved, the jewelry receives a permanent certification record, ensuring full visibility of its provenance, composition, and compliance.
In iTraceiT, you can request Jewelry Certification in two ways: manually, one piece at a time, or automatically, in bulk.
This article explains both methods step by step to help you complete the process efficiently and accurately.
Manual Request – One Jewelry Piece at a Time
Use this option when you want to certify a single jewelry parcel and confirm its details before submission.
- Step 1: On the Homepage use the search field to retrieve the QR code of the parcel you want to request SCS validation or certification for.
- Step 2: Click on the sub tab “SCS Global Services”.
- Step 3: Press the button “Request Jewelry Certificate”.
The request has been sent.
Once certification is completed, you can go to the sub tab “SCS Fields” to view the data used for certification, get the QR code of the certificate, access the certificate URL, and download the PDF.
Request Jewelry Certification – Multiple Parcels at Once
Use this option when you need to certify several parcels in a single action.
- Step 1: Go to My Assets.
- Step 2: From the drop-down, select “Single Items”
- Step 3: Use the checkboxes to select multiple parcels.
- Step 4: Click on “More Actions”.
- Step 5: Select “Request Jewelry Certificate”.
- The system will send the certification request for all selected QR codes at once.
