Login Page Is Not Displaying Properly

If you're trying to log into iTraceiT but the login page isn’t loading properly or parts of it are missing, broken, or unresponsive, you’re not alone. When the login screen fails to display as expected, it blocks access and interrupts your day.

This guide explains what causes the issue and how you can fix it quickly, even if you're not technical.

What’s Going Wrong?

You may notice:

  • The login fields (email/password) don’t appear

  • The page looks broken or frozen

  • Buttons are missing or don’t respond

  • The screen is blank or partially loaded

This usually happens because of:

  • Browser caching problems

  • Network timeouts or loading errors

  • Incompatible browser settings or extensions

  • A temporary issue with how the login page is rendered

What You Can Try

1. Refresh the page
Click the reload button or press Ctrl + R (Windows) / Cmd + R (Mac). This often resolves simple loading hiccups.

2. Try in an incognito/private window
This skips cached files and extensions. Just open a private window and go to your usual iTraceiT login link.

3. Clear your browser cache (step-by-step below)
If the cache stores old or broken versions of the page, the login screen may not work. Here's how to fix that:

How to Clear Your Cache (Step-by-Step)

Choose your browser:

  • Chrome:

    1. Click the three dots in the top-right corner

    2. Go to More tools > Clear browsing data

    3. Select Cached images and files

    4. Click Clear data

  • Edge:

    1. Click the three dots in the top-right corner

    2. Go to Settings > Privacy, search, and services

    3. Under Clear browsing data, click Choose what to clear

    4. Select Cached images and files, then Clear now

  • Firefox:

    1. Click the menu button (three lines)

    2. Choose Settings > Privacy & Security

    3. Scroll to Cookies and Site Data

    4. Click Clear Data

Advanced Method via Developer Tools

If the easy way didn’t work, here’s the full method.

📍 Step-by-step in Chrome:

  1. On the iTraceiT login page, right-click anywhere on the screen

  2. Choose “Inspect”
A panel opens (usually on the right or bottom of your screen)

  3. At the top of that panel, you’ll see a row of tabs like:
    Elements | Console | Sources | Network | Application
    → Click on “Application”

  4. Now look at the left-hand sidebar (inside the Developer Tools window).
Scroll down and click on “Clear storage”

  5. On the right, you’ll see a list of checkboxes. Make sure these are checked:

    • Local storage

    • Session storage

    • Cookies

    • Cache storage

    • IndexedDB

  6. Then click the big button that says “Clear site data”

  7. Once done, reload the page (Ctrl + R or click the refresh icon)

BONUS: Hard Refresh Shortcut (Fastest Fix)

If you already have Developer Tools open (from the steps above):

  1. Go to the top-left of your browser (where the refresh icon is)

  2. Right-click on the refresh icon

  3. Select the last option:
👉 “Empty Cache and Hard Reload”

After that, close everything, reopen your browser, and go back to the iTraceiT login page; it should load normally now.
