# How to Enable Document Transfer to Child parcels

#### Only administrators can create or modify File Categories !

Incorporating documents into the transfer to child parcels process requires proper configuration at the category level. This guide provides a clear, step-by-step process for **administrators** to enable the "**Transfer Documents to Child**" setting.

**Step 1:** Open your domain settings

**Step 2:** Go to **Customization**

**Step 3:** Select **Files Categories**

**Step 4:** Identify and click on the pencil next to the category you wish to modify (e.g., “Shipping Document”).

**Step 5:** In the category configuration screen, find the checkbox labeled **"Transfer to Child"**.

**Step 6:** Check this box to activate the documents' child transfer capability for the selected category.

**Step 7:** Click the **Save** button to confirm your configuration adjustments.
