Can I See Who Scans or Uses My QR Codes?

At this stage, our system does not provide producers with access to detailed information about who scans or uses the QR codes once they have been exported and distributed to end customers

This limitation is intentional and aligns with our core privacy principles and the commitments we've made to our customers throughout the supply chain.

Why This Information Is Restricted

Our platform was designed to respect data sensitivity and privacy at each stage of the supply chain. While we understand the interest producers may have in tracking QR code engagement, we must balance this with the need to protect the confidentiality of downstream actors. In fact, many of our customers explicitly request that producers not have access to usage details beyond the export point.

Are Any Insights Available?

We recognize that producers may still want basic visibility into how QR codes are performing—such as whether codes are being scanned at all. Our team is currently reviewing the possibility of enabling limited statistics, such as scan counts or general usage indicators, without compromising user privacy or violating our agreements with end users.

Any development in this direction will be carefully evaluated and communicated transparently once approved.

What You Can Do in the Meantime

While you won’t be able to access detailed usage analytics, here are a few best practices:

  • Use our new V2 QR Codes, which can be scanned without requiring the customer to register, lowering friction and increasing the likelihood of engagement.

  • Track product distribution internally to associate batches with certain customers or regions.

  • Gather voluntary feedback from clients about how QR codes are being used or perceived.
