SCS Producers – How to Request Validation

As an SCS Producer, requesting validation is the key step that confirms your parcels meet the SCS requirements for traceability and compliance.

Once your QR Codes have been created in iTraceiT, you can submit them for validation directly through the platform.This process ensures that every parcel is verified, recorded, and ready to move to the next stage of the supply chain.

In iTraceiT, you can request validation manually (one by one) or in bulk (for several parcels at once). Both methods provide full transparency and secure traceability.

 

Manually Request Validation – One Parcel at a Time

Use this option when you want to validate a parcel individually and confirm its details before submission.

  • Step 1: Log in to iTraceiT and go to Homepage.

  • Step 2: On the Homepage, use the search field to retrieve the QR code of the parcel you want to request SCS validation for.



  • Step 3: Click on the sub tab “SCS Global Services”



  • Step 4: Click on “Single Stone” sub-tab



  • Step 5: Press the button “Request Validation”



  • The request has been sent.



  • Once complete, the parcel will display the status “Validated” and will be ready to move to the next step in the supply chain.


 

Request Validation – Multiple Parcels at Once

Use this option when you need to validate several parcels in a single action.

  • Step 1: Go to My Assets and select Single Items. 



  • Step 2: Use the checkboxes to select the parcels you want to request validation for . 



  • Step 3: Click on “More Actions”, then select “Request SCS Validation”.



The system will send all selected parcels for validation at once. When SCS approves them, their status will automatically update to Validated.

 

Requesting validation in iTraceiT confirms that your parcels meet the required SCS standards for traceability.This step transforms your QR Codes from created data into certified records that can securely move through the supply chain.

By validating your parcels, you ensure transparency, accountability, and full compliance with SCS certification procedures. Validation marks the official start of your certified journey.
