How to Restore a QR Code
Maintaining control and visibility over your QR codes is essential for ensuring smooth traceability and data continuity. Whether due to accidental deletion or operational error, having the ability to restore a deleted QR code is a critical feature for any asset management system. Restoring a QR code allows your teams to maintain consistent tracking without the need to generate new identifiers or disrupt workflows already in place.
This article explains the exact steps to restore a previously deleted QR code from the platform, using the Restore Deleted function accessible via the Single Items section.
Only QR codes that have not been exported to the blockchain can be restored.
Steps to Restore a Deleted QR Code
- Step 1: Click on My Assets from the main navigation menu.
- Step 2: Under My Assets, click on Single Items. This section gives access to all individual QR codes associated with your organization.
- Step 3: In the top-right corner of the Single Items screen, click on More Actions. This will open a drop-down menu with additional functions.

- Step 4: From the dropdown, select the option Restore Deleted Parcel. This action opens a new window containing a list of all QR codes that were previously deleted.

- Step 5: Review the list of deleted QR codes. Identify the QR code you wish to restore. You can scroll through to quickly locate the code.
- Step 6: Click on the Restore button.

- Step 7: Then on Yes. The system will confirm the restoration, and the QR code will be reinstated to its original active status.
