How to group QR Codes

In iTraceiT, grouping QR codes allows you to combine several parcels into one visible group.
This feature is useful when you need to share a set of QR codes with a client or partner without sending them individually.

Instead of sharing each parcel one by one, you can create a single grouped QR code. When the grouped QR code is scanned, it displays all the individual parcels it contains, with their related data, certificates, and origins.

Grouping is also helpful for bulk export operations, as it lets you send multiple QR codes on the blockchain together.

This article explains how to create a group of QR codes and manage it efficiently in iTraceiT.

  • Step 1: On the Homepage, click on Group QR codes”.

  • Step 2: A pop-up will open with two sub-sections to complete:

    a) Enter the reference of the group.

    b) Add the parcels you would like to group (you can add by searching them by weight/reference/country etc or pasting the QR ID).

  • Step 3: Click on “Create and Next”.

  • Step 4: Choose where the QR Code opens when scanned.
Here, keep it on “iTraceiT Landing Page” (redirects to our landing page).

  • Step 5: A confirmation window will ask if you want to export the group immediately:
If you click Yes, all the QR codes that were not yet exported will be exported to the blockchain together with the group.

If you click No, the group will simply be created.

You can later go to My Assets > Group and export the group from there.

Grouping QR codes optimizes how you manage and share traceability data across the certified supply chain. It allows you to deliver complete, structured information in a single, professional format, improving transparency and collaboration with your partners.

By grouping multiple parcels within a single QR code, you streamline processes, reinforce reliability, and guarantee that all parcel information is clearly visible and aligned with international compliance standards.
