How to Link a Mine to a QR code in iTraceiT

In iTraceiT, linking a mine to a QR code enhances traceability by providing detailed origin information. Associating a mine with your parcel ensures compliance, transparency, and trust in the supply chain.

Follow these steps to link a mine to a QR code in iTraceiT.

Step 1: Create a New QR code

  1. Log in to iTraceiT and go to the homepage.
  2. Click on "Create a New QR" to open the parcel creation window.
  3. Enter the required details:
    • Parcel Reference (internal company reference).
    • Weight in carats (up to three decimal points).
    • Country of Origin (mandatory field).

Step 2: Add a Mine to the QR code

  1. Locate the Mine field in the parcel creation form.
  2. Select an existing mine from the dropdown list.

Step 3: Save and Generate the QR code

  1. Double-check all entered details, including the mine name and origin data.
  2. Click "Create and next" to generate the QR code.
  3. Add the desired Documents and Extra fields to the parcel.
  4. The QR code now contains the linked mine information.
